Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds thinly in trays of moist, free draining compost or directly outdoors in prepared soil. Lightly cover with fine soil and maintain temperatures at 15 to 18°C. Germination usually occurs within 2 to 3 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 25 to 30 cm apart. Harden off indoor seedlings and plant out after last frost

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water regularly during dry spells and feed lightly with a balanced fertiliser to encourage strong growth and abundant blooms. Remove spent flower spikes to prolong flowering. Stock prefers sunny positions and fertile soil, rewarding with fragrance and colour throughout summer
