Lobelia Blue Carpet Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This compact spreading half hardy annual has an abundance of tiny purple blue flowers during summer.

They are excellent for growing in pots, containers and hanging baskets or could be used to great effect edging borders.

Liquid feed every fortnight

Sow from January - April in a propagator or warm window sill onto sieved moist compost and press the seed down gently.

Transplant the seedlings when they are large enough to handle into trays spacing the plants 5cm apart to grow on.

Harden off before planting out when all risk of frost has passed.
