Stock Cinderella Mix is a low-maintenance and easy-to-grow annual that thrives in full sun or partial shade. It benefits from regular watering, but the soil should be well-drained to prevent waterlogging. Deadheading will encourage new blooms and prolong the flowering period, while cutting the plant back after flowering will keep the garden tidy and encourage fresh growth the following season.

 

Sowing Instructions

Indoors: Sow seeds in trays or pots filled with moist, well-drained compost from February to April. Lightly press the seeds into the surface without covering them, as they require light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 18-20°C and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle, and harden off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

Outdoors: Sow directly into prepared, well-drained soil from April to May, once the risk of frost has passed. Scatter the seeds thinly on the soil surface and gently press them down. Keep moist until germination occurs. Thin seedlings to 25 cm apart to ensure healthy growth and good air circulation.
