Sowing Instructions:
 
Sow seeds directly outdoors from April to May in well prepared soil. Lightly scatter seeds and cover them with a thin layer of soil, then water gently. If starting indoors, sow 4–6 weeks before the last frost date and transplant after frost danger has passed.
 
Plant 30 cm apart in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, Safflower Zanzibar is drought-tolerant, making it an excellent choice for low maintenance gardens. Deadhead regularly to encourage further flowering and prevent self-seeding.
