Sowing & Growing

When to Sow March to September directly outdoors in prepared beds or containers

Germination 7 to 14 days at 15–20°C

Soil & Position Fertile, well drained soil; prefers full sun or partial shade

Harvesting April to October with repeated cut and come again harvests

 

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds thinly in shallow drills 1cm deep in prepared soil or containers. Water gently and keep moist until seedlings emerge. Thin seedlings to 10cm apart for best growth. Successional sowings every 2 to 3 weeks ensure a continuous supply of fresh leaves.
