Rocket Wild Dragons Tongue Herb Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This salad vegetable has attractive red veined green leaves with a peppery taste.

Pick over a long period of time this is a bolt resistant variety.

They can be grown year round indoors.

Loam or sandy soil that's alkaline or neutral

Harvest May - October year round indoors

Companion Plants Beetroot, beans, carrots and radish

Do not plant with cabbage

Pick the leaves from each plant when young

A good source of vitamin A

Use in salads, sandwiches or as a garnish

Sow thinly outdoors between March - August in fertile well drained soil from late March onwards 13mm deep. Thin or transplant the seedlings to 20cm apart.

Make successional sowings fortnightly in a sheltered sunny spot.

Water well during summer.
