Pumpkin Small Sugar Seed

Water consistently, especially during fruit formation, and mulch around the base to retain moisture. Harvest when the skin hardens and the stem begins to dry. Cure in a warm, dry place before storage.

 

Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds individually in pots of moist compost from April to May. Keep at 18–21°C. Once seedlings develop and all risk of frost has passed, harden off and plant out, spacing 90 cm apart.

 

Outdoors:

Sow directly into warm, fertile soil from late May to June. Plant seeds 2–3 cm deep, spaced 90 cm apart in rows or mounds. Water well and keep weed-free as plants establish.
