Pride Of Madeira Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These large perennial plants will bring an exotic look to the cottage garden with an abundance of tall intense blue flower spikes on strong stems over attractive green foliage.

They are very attractive to bee's and butterflies and other pollinating insects.

Grow in a sheltered sunny border for long lasting colour.

Sow between May - july onto a tray of moist compost cover lightly and place the tray on a bright warm window cill the temperature needs to be 20° - 25° to germinate.

When the plants are large enough to handle transplant to individual pots or trays 2cm apart to grow on.

Plant out into the flower border where they are to grow and flower the following summer.
