Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays filled with fine compost. Cover seeds lightly with compost and maintain a temperature of 18-21°C until germination.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on in a bright, frost-free environment. After the last frost, transplant plants to their final growing positions, spacing them 50-60 cm apart.

 

For best results, grow Pomodoro Rio Grande in full sun with protection from strong winds. Regularly prune any damaged leaves and remove lower foliage to prevent soil-borne diseases. Harvest fruits when they are fully ripe for the richest flavour.
