Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays filled with fine compost. Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep and maintain a temperature of 18-21°C for germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on in a bright, frost-free environment.

 

After the last frost, transplant plants into their final growing positions, spacing them 50-60 cm apart. Choose a sunny, sheltered site for the best results.

 

Harvest fruits as they ripen, allowing them to fully develop their flavour on the vine. For sun-drying, pick tomatoes at peak ripeness and dry them in a warm, sunny spot or use a food dehydrator.
