Passion Flower Purple Granadilla Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
 
This vigorous self clinging evergreen climber will be hardy in a sheltered areas.
It has glossy green leaves with pretty white and purple flowers. 
 
The yellow orange fruits that follow the flowers are edible and can be eaten or juiced. 
 
They will also make a lovely house plant for a conservatory. 
 
Sow February - April or year round
Germination takes 21 - 41 days

Soak the seed over night before sowing. 
Can be sown year round if temperatures can be maintained.
 
Sow between February - April 1cm deep into a tray of moist compost 5mm deep and place on a warm window sill, cold frame or cool greenhouse.
Germinate at between 25-30°
 
When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on.
 
Plant out after the risk of frost has passed.
