Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost or directly outdoors in well-prepared soil. For indoor sowing, plant in seed trays or pots, covering the seeds lightly with compost. Maintain a temperature of 18-21°C and keep the soil moist until germination. Once seedlings are large enough, harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

For outdoor sowing, plant seeds in rows 1 cm deep in moist, fertile soil. Thin seedlings to 10-15 cm apart to allow for proper bulb development. Regular watering and occasional feeding with balanced fertiliser will ensure large, sweet bulbs.
