Nigella Moody Blues Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

The Nigella damascena Moody Blues is a charming cottage garden favourite, offering airy, delicate blooms in shades of blue, lavender, and white.

Commonly known as Love-in-a-Mist, this variety is named for its fine, fern-like foliage, which forms a misty halo around its intricate flowers.

A low-maintenance, pollinator-friendly annual, Moody Blues grows to a height of 45–60 cm, thriving in well-drained soil and full sun. Ideal for borders, wildflower meadows, and cut flower arrangements, this self-seeding plant will return year after year, creating a natural, effortless display.
Its ornamental seed pods add interest to dried flower arrangements.
