Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds in trays or small pots filled with fine, moist compost from February to April. Press seeds lightly into the surface but do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 18–21°C. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle and harden off before planting out after the last frost.

 

Outdoors:

Sow directly into prepared soil from May to June in a sunny, sheltered location. Lightly press seeds into the surface and keep the area moist. Thin seedlings to 25–30 cm apart once established.
