Sow March - May 

 

Sow between March - May where they are to flower 2cm deep sowing thinly into well prepared soil that has already been watered. 

 

When the seedlings emerge to thin to 10cm between plants. 

 

Alternatively Sow between February - April into seed trays of moist compost and leave on a sunny windowsill when the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into individual pots or trays to grow on. 

 

Gradually harden off and plant out after the risk of frost has passed.
