Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to September in a finely prepared seedbed or containers. Sow thinly in shallow drills 0.5 cm deep, spaced 30 cm apart. Lightly cover with soil, water gently, and keep the soil moist during germination.

 

For an early crop, sow indoors from February in trays or modules. Keep at 15-18°C and transplant hardened seedlings into their final positions once they have at least two true leaves.

 

Harvest by picking outer leaves as needed or cutting whole heads when fully mature. For a continuous supply, sow every 2-3 weeks throughout the growing season.
