Sowing Instructions

Outdoors or Containers:

Sow from February to August in shallow drills 1 cm deep. Space rows 25 cm apart and thin seedlings to 20 cm for full heads. For containers, use a wide pot or trough with fertile compost and sow thinly for cut and come again harvesting.

 

Growing On:

Keep soil evenly moist to maintain tender leaves. Harvest outer leaves regularly or cut full heads when mature. Provide light shade during hot spells to prevent bolting.
