Sowing Instructions

 

Start seeds indoors from March to May in pots filled with nutrient-rich compost. Sow seeds 1 cm deep and keep at a temperature of 20–25°C. Once seedlings develop strong roots and the risk of frost has passed, harden them off and transplant outdoors.

 

Direct sow from May to June in well-prepared, sunny soil. Sow seeds 1 cm deep, spaced at least 30 cm apart. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and mulch around plants to retain moisture. Providing support, such as a trellis, encourages upward growth and easier harvesting.
