Sowing Instructions

 

Start seeds indoors from March to April in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Sow seeds thinly on the surface, as they require light to germinate. Keep at a temperature of 18-21°C and ensure the soil remains consistently moist. Once seedlings are large enough, harden off and transplant them outdoors after the last frost.

 

Direct sow outdoors in late spring, once the danger of frost has passed, in well-prepared soil. Lightly rake the seeds into the surface and keep the soil moist during the germination period. Thin seedlings to maintain good airflow and prevent overcrowding.
