Kohlrabi Wener Blauwe Seeds

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to July in well-prepared soil. Plant seeds 1 cm deep, spacing them 5 cm apart in rows. Once seedlings develop their first true leaves, thin them to 25 cm apart to allow proper bulb formation.

 

For an early start, sow indoors from February in seed trays or modules, keeping them at 15–20°C. Transplant seedlings outdoors once they are sturdy enough to handle and after the risk of frost has passed.

 

 

Regular watering is essential to prevent the bulbs from becoming tough or woody. A steady supply of nutrients will encourage rapid, healthy growth, making ‘Wener Blauwe’ an excellent addition to any kitchen garden.
