Kochia, also known as Burning Bush or Summer Cypress, is a fast-growing annual with fine, feathery foliage that transforms into a brilliant red in autumn.

 

This ornamental plant is valued for its bushy, rounded shape and striking seasonal colour change, making it an excellent choice for borders, hedging, and container displays.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors in well-prepared soil after the last frost. Lightly press into the soil but do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Keep the soil moist until seedlings emerge.

 

Thin plants to 30-40 cm apart to allow room for full development. Kochia grows quickly and requires minimal maintenance.
