Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to July. Sprinkle seeds thinly on the surface of moist, fine compost and lightly press them in without covering, as they require light to germinate. Maintain a temperature of 20-24°C and keep compost moist.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots. When all risk of frost has passed, you can move plants outdoors or grow them as indoor houseplants. Space outdoor plants 25-30 cm apart in beds or containers.

 

For the best results, place Coleus Rainbow Mix in bright, indirect light to maintain vivid leaf colours. Avoid direct, harsh sunlight, which may scorch the foliage. Regularly pinch off flower buds to direct energy toward leaf growth.
