Hollyhock Red Seeds

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to June seed trays or individual pots filled with fine compost. Lightly cover with soil and maintain a temperature of 15–20°C, keeping the compost moist until germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into pots and harden off before planting out in late summer.

 

 

 

Flowering occurs from the second year onwards. To prolong their lifespan, cut back spent flower stems after blooming and allow some seeds to self-sow naturally.
