This tall fast growing annual grass has broad leaves with a decorative seed head made up of clusters of brown seeds.

Excellent for feeding garden birds.

Ideal in beds, borders, gravel, low maintenance,

Sow between March - May into a seed tray of moist compost leaving on a sunny window sill or in a propagator.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on in to individual pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting them out after the risk of frost has passed.
