Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from April to May or directly outdoors from late May to June when the risk of frost has passed. If sowing indoors, place seeds 2 cm deep in pots of moist compost, keeping them at a temperature of 18–21°C until germination. Once seedlings develop strong roots, harden them off and transplant them to their final position.

 

For direct outdoor sowing, plant seeds in well-prepared soil, spacing them at least 90 cm apart to allow ample room for vines to spread. Provide support if growing vertically or leave space for sprawling growth. Water regularly, especially in dry conditions.
