For outdoor sowing, wait until April to June, and choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil. Scatter the seeds thinly and press them gently into the surface. Keep the soil moist during germination, which generally takes 7-14 days. Once the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into their final positions, spacing them 20-30 cm apart to allow for spreading.
