French Bean Dwarf Maxi Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This long cropping bean produces long oval pods up to 20cm long they grow above the foliage making them easier to harvest.

This bean grows to a height of 45cm

A good variety for weather tolerance.

Sow April - July

Germination 7 - 14 days

Harvest June - October

Companion plants Carrots, beetroot, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and cucumber

harvest when the pods are around 20cm long by gently pulling them off the plant.

A good source of vitamin A and Fibre

Use for steaming & light boiling

Sow into pots or trays on a sunny window sill or warm green house when the plants are large enough gradually accustom them to outside planting out when the risk of frost has passed.

Alternatively sow direct into the ground where they are to grow when the risk of frost has passed plant out 45cm apart leaving 45cm between rows in a sunny position.
