Flower Mix Balcony Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This blend of easy to grow summer flowering annuals will produce an array of bright colours during summer.

Sow direct into the garden encouraging valuable wildlife.

Use to fill gaps towards the front of a mixed border or alternatively sow into containers or window boxes.

Includes 23 varieties.

Sow March - April

Germination time 7 - 14 days

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Height Approximately 30cm - 50cm

Plant in sun or partial shade

Flowers June - September

Ideal in beds, mixed borders, cottage and wildlife and wild flowers garden

Cut down after flowering

The seed can be sown thinly directly outside from March onwards around 1cm deep into finely raked moist soil where they are to flower covering lightly.

When the seedlings emerge thin to about 8cm apart allowing the young plants to develop further then thin to around 15cm between plants.
