A bushy and aromatic short lived perennial with sprays of small daisy like flowers in white with yellow centres. Feverfew forms upright, branching plants with finely divided foliage and blooms from early summer into autumn.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds on the surface of moist compost and press lightly without covering, as light aids germination. Keep at 18 to 22°C until seedlings appear. Transplant into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off and plant outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 30 to 40 cm apart. Feverfew self-seeds readily and spreads naturally once established.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Water during dry spells until established, then reduce watering. Avoid overfeeding. Deadhead to prolong flowering or allow to self-seed for informal planting. Suitable for borders, herbal gardens, and cutting. Cut back after flowering to encourage fresh growth.
