Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press seeds onto the surface without covering them, as they require light for germination. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 18-22°C.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20-30 cm apart in a sunny or partially shaded position.

 

For direct outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in well-prepared soil from April to May or in late summer for early blooms the following year. Keep the soil moist until seedlings establish.
