Evening Primrose Pink Seeds

A graceful spreading perennial producing soft rose pink cup shaped blooms that open in warm daylight bringing gentle colour and a natural meadow feel to borders cottage gardens and wildlife friendly plantings.

 

Evening Primrose Rose forms low spreading mats of fresh green foliage topped with masses of silky flowers from early summer onwards. Each bloom opens a clear soft pink with a pale centre creating a luminous effect in sunlight. Plants are long flowering drought tolerant once established and highly attractive to bees and other pollinators. This species is ideal for naturalistic borders gravel gardens and relaxed informal planting styles

 

It thrives in full sun and free draining soil and copes well with heat and poorer ground. Once settled it spreads steadily to form a flowering carpet and is especially effective at the front of borders or weaving through other perennials.
