Sow February to April indoors or directly outdoors from May. Germination 7 to 14 days at 18 to 22°C. Soil and Position Fertile well drained soil; prefers full sun. Height 30 to 40 cm with compact growth and bright red flowers. Flowering June to September.

 

Sowing instructions

Sow seeds thinly in trays or pots indoors from February. Cover lightly with compost and keep moist. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle spacing 25 cm apart. For outdoor sowings prepare a fine seed bed in full sun and sow thinly in drills 1 cm deep.
