Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors on the surface of moist, free draining compost and lightly cover with a fine layer of compost or vermiculite. Maintain gentle warmth and keep the compost evenly moist until seedlings appear. Transplant young plants into individual pots when large enough to handle. Harden off gradually and plant out after the last frost into fertile, well drained soil.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells and feed lightly to support strong growth and continuous flowering. Remove spent blooms to encourage fresh buds and prolong the display. Provide a sunny, sheltered position for the best colour and stem strength. Plants may benefit from light support as they mature. Protect young plants from slugs and snails.
