Cornflower Rose Shades Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This hardy annual has long flowering double rosy pink flowers on tall slender stems throughout summer.

They attract valuable wildlife into the garden and also make a nice cut flower grow in a sunny mixed border for long lasting displays.

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border between March - May in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep.

When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10-15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
