Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to April or directly outdoors from late April to May. For indoor sowing, fill seed trays or pots with fine compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface, and lightly cover with a thin layer of compost. Maintain a temperature of 18-21°C and keep the soil moist until germination occurs.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots, hardening them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20-30 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered location.

 

For direct sowing, scatter seeds in well-prepared soil, lightly rake in, and water gently. Thin seedlings as necessary to allow for proper spacing and airflow.
