Cleome Colour Fountain Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

A statuesque annual with airy, spider-like blooms in soft pinks, purples, and whites perfect for bold summer borders.

Cleome Colour Fountain is a tall, architectural half hardy annual that brings height, movement, and a touch of the exotic to garden displays. Its distinctive spider like flowers bloom in a soft pastel mix of rose, lilac, and white, rising above palmate foliage on strong, upright stems.

Loved by pollinators and striking in both formal and informal schemes, this variety is ideal for back borders, wildlife gardens, and cut flower arrangements. Heat tolerant and low maintenance once established, it thrives in full sun and well drained soil.

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots and grow on. Harden off and plant out after the last frost, spacing 30–45 cm apart in full sun.

Water regularly and deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering. Cleome may self seed in favourable conditions, offering naturalised displays in future seasons.
