Sowing instructions

Sow thinly on the surface of moist fine compost and cover lightly with a fine layer of compost or vermiculite

Keep evenly moist until seedlings appear then thin or transplant to allow clumps to form

Plant out once established and continue to water during dry spells

Cut leaves regularly to encourage fresh growth

Divide mature clumps every few years to maintain vigour

Remove spent flowers if you want to focus growth on leaf production
