Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors in small pots or trays filled with moist compost. Cover lightly and keep at a steady temperature until germination. Transplant seedlings into individual pots when large enough to handle. Grow on in warm bright conditions and plant outdoors or into a greenhouse after the last frost. Provide a sunny sheltered position for best results.

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly and feed every two weeks with a high potash fertiliser once flowering begins. Support stems if heavily laden with fruit. Remove the first few early flowers to encourage stronger branching and a larger crop. Harvest fruits green or allow them to ripen fully to red for maximum heat and flavour.
