This compact variety is ideal for growing in smaller garden.

Loam - sandy soil that's alkaline, acidic or neutral 

Harvest August - November 

 

Celery is an ideal vegetable to grow if the soil retains moisture ensure it is well fertilised. Keep well watered and remove any side shoots that may grow. 

It's in the ground for a long time but we'll worth the effort. 

 

Sow the seed in trays 1.5 cm deep March - April on a sunny window sill. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into tray 7.5cm apart or individual pots to grow on, gradually harden off the plants and transplant out from May onwards.
