Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to May in trays or modules filled with moist seed compost. Sow seeds 1 cm deep and maintain a temperature of 15-20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots. Harden off before planting outdoors, spacing plants 45-60 cm apart in fertile, well-prepared soil.

 

For a spring harvest, sow seeds outdoors in September or October in a cold frame or directly into prepared soil. Protect young plants with cloches over winter.
