Carrot Paris Market 4 Seed

A classic French heirloom carrot variety producing small round roots about the size of a golf ball.

 

The roots are smooth, bright orange, and wonderfully sweet with a crisp texture. Their compact shape makes them especially suitable for heavier soils, raised beds, and containers where longer carrots fail.

Sowing Instructions

 

Sow thinly in shallow drills 1 cm deep with 25–30 cm between rows. Cover lightly with soil and water well. Thin seedlings to 5 cm apart once established. For continuous cropping, sow small batches every three weeks through the season.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Keep soil moist to prevent roots from splitting. Hoe carefully between rows to control weeds. Protect young seedlings from carrot fly by covering with fine mesh or fleece. Harvest promptly when roots reach the desired size to maintain tenderness.
