Carnation Spring Beauty Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This cottage garden favourite has a bright and vivid mix of highly scented frilly flowers in a variety of colours including various shades of pink, white, mauve.

They bloom over a long period of time over neat mounds of blue green evergreen foliage.

A lovely long flowering perennial for the front of a sunny border, rock garden or container display.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between May - July on a warm window sill or propagator to give gentle heat into trays of moist compost cover with 5cm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position.

Alternatively May - July in a seed bed transplant the young plants to their flowering position in autumn to flower the following year.
