Sowing Instructions

 

Sow indoors from February to June in trays of fine compost. Cover lightly and keep at 15 to 20°C until seedlings appear. Transplant when large enough to handle and grow on in cooler conditions. Harden off before planting out. Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in prepared seed beds during spring or early summer.

 

Grow and Maintenance

 

Peach-leaved Bellflowers prefer moist but well-drained soil and a sunny or lightly shaded position. Water regularly during dry spells and feed occasionally for best performance. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage further flowering. Once established, they are hardy and low-maintenance, returning reliably each year.
