Calendula Golden Princess ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bright yellow annual is a very old variety with golden yellow flowers with a double dark centre they bloom during summer on long slender stems.

They encourage a host valuable wildlife into the garden.

The petals are edible and could be added to salads.

Sow between March - May in a cool greenhouse or cold frame into trays of moist compost cover with 5cm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position.

Alternatively direct Sow during May into finely raked soil where they are to grow.
