Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds 1.5 cm deep in trays or seed beds of moist, well-prepared soil. Germination usually occurs within 1 to 2 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle, spacing 40 to 50 cm apart in rows 45 cm apart. Plant firmly and water well. For staggered harvests, sowings can be made every 3 to 4 weeks

 

Grow and Maintenance

Water regularly during dry spells and feed with a balanced fertiliser to encourage healthy growth. Brassica oleracea ‘Wintergreen’ benefits from firm planting and consistent moisture.
