Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds in trays or modules of fine, moist compost from March to May. Cover lightly with compost and keep at 15–20°C. Once seedlings have developed strong roots, transplant into individual pots and harden off before planting out, spacing 30 cm apart.

 

Outdoors:

Sow directly into prepared seed beds from May to June, placing seeds 1 cm deep in drills spaced 30 cm apart. Once seedlings emerge, thin to the strongest plants, ensuring ample space for development.
