Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April for an early start. Scatter seeds thinly on the surface of moist seed compost and press gently to ensure good contact. Do not cover seeds, as they need light to germinate. Keep at a temperature of 18-20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and grow on in cooler conditions.

 

When all risk of frost has passed, harden off plants and transplant them to their final positions, spacing 15-20 cm apart in borders or containers. Water regularly and feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser every two weeks for continuous blooms.
