Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in trays or modules filled with moist, fine compost. Sow seeds 1.5 cm deep and keep at a temperature of 13-16°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into larger pots or outdoors when they reach 10-15 cm tall. Space plants 60 cm apart in rows with 75 cm between rows.

 

For direct sowing, plant seeds in a prepared seed bed outdoors from March to April. Thin seedlings as they grow, keeping the strongest for transplanting to their final position.
