Broccoli Raab 60 Days Seeds - Seeds Irish Plants Direct

This dwarf variety is ready for harvesting at around 60 days.

An Italian variety that has a long harvesting period and all parts of the plants can be eaten the leaves, stems and buds.

Germination 7 - 14 days

Loam, clay, sandy soil that's alkaline or neutral

Harvest May - November the following year

Companion Plants beetroot, carrots, onions, rosemary, sage, mint, marigolds, calendula

Do not plant with strawberries.

Harvest the shoots leaves and stems when required.

A good source of Vitamin A, C and antioxidants

Use for Steaming and salads

Brassicas require a fertile well drained soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

Sow directly outside between February - September in a prapared seed bed in drills 1.5cm deep and 30cm between rows.

Thin the young plants 25cm apart.

Ensure the plants are kept well watered during warm weather.
