Broccoli Raab 60 Days Seeds – Irish Plants Direct

Broccoli Raab 60 Days (Brassica rapa var. ruvo), also known as Rapini, is a fast growing, cool season green producing tender stems, leafy shoots, and small edible buds with a bold, slightly bitter flavour.

Popular in Italian and Asian cuisine, this variety is ideal for sautéing, steaming, or adding to pasta and stir-fries bringing a peppery, nutty edge to seasonal dishes.

Thriving in fertile, moisture-retentive soil, Broccoli Raab flourishes in full sun to partial shade and matures quickly ready to harvest just 60 days from sowing. Its compact growth and repeat harvest potential make it perfect for raised beds, containers, and intensive cropping.

Sowing Instructions

Outdoors:
Sow seeds thinly in rows 1 cm deep and 30 cm apart. Water regularly and thin seedlings to 15 cm spacing once established. For best flavour, harvest young shoots before flower buds fully open.

Successional Sowing:
Sow every 2–3 weeks for a continuous supply. Cut stems just above the base to encourage regrowth. Avoid harvesting during hot spells to prevent bitterness.

Broccoli Raab 60 Days delivers quick harvests, bold flavour, and culinary versatility in a compact, easy care crop. A favourite for gourmet greens and seasonal variety.
