Brachyscome Blue Star (Brachyscome iberidifolia) is a compact, free flowering annual producing masses of dainty, sky-blue daisy like blooms with soft yellow centres. With its ferny foliage and trailing habit, this variety is perfect for hanging baskets, containers, borders, and rockeries bringing a soft, meadow-like charm to summer displays.

Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds thinly on the surface of moist seed compost from February to April. Lightly press seeds but do not cover, as light aids germination. Maintain a temperature of 18–21°C and keep compost evenly moist. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, prick out into individual pots and grow on until ready to plant outdoors.

 

Outdoors:

After the last frost, transplant into borders, baskets, or containers. Space plants 25–35 cm apart. Water during dry spells and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
